Dacia Sandero Stepway Hybrid 155 (2026): How much it costs

From a technical perspective, the Dacia Sandero Stepway Hybrid 155 features a petrol engine with a displacement of 1,789 cubic centimeters, as well as a highly efficient hybrid system with front-wheel drive. The internal combustion engine delivers 80 kW (109 hp), while the electric motor contributes an additional 36 kW (49 hp). This results in a combined system output of 116 kW, which corresponds to 158 hp.

Power transmission is handled by a special multi-mode automatic gearbox. In terms of dynamics, the Sandero Stepway Hybrid 155 accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 8.3 seconds. The combined fuel consumption according to WLTP is a low 4.4 liters per 100 kilometers, with consumption in urban fringe areas (medium) even reducing to up to 3.3 liters.

With combined CO2 emissions of 100 grams per kilometer, the vehicle is classified into CO2 class C. The annual vehicle tax amounts to a favorable 46.00 Euros. The unladen weight of the hybrid model is 1,341 kilograms, and the boot volume with the rear seat backrest upright is 372 liters.

Unlike the pure petrol or LPG powertrains, this full-hybrid version is not offered in the “Essential” base trim, but starts directly in the mid-range “Expression” trim at a non-binding price of 20,790 Euros. For the even more extensively equipped top variant “Extreme”, a list price of 21,990 Euros is quoted.

All Features at a Glance

The Expression trim line already offers a digital, 7-inch color driver information display and an electric parking brake. Additionally, the standard E-SAVE mode is included, which allows the battery charge level to be preserved proactively for demanding driving conditions such as steep inclines. The modular boot floor is also standard for this engine.

Further highlights of the Expression line include the Media Display multimedia system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration and Connected Services, as well as a rearview camera, a rain sensor, fog lights, and a cruise control system with speed limiter. The exterior mirrors are electrically adjustable and heated, and an elevated center console with armrest and rear USB-C port ensures comfort in the interior.

If you choose the highest trim variant, Extreme, the scope of delivery expands to include striking design features and additional comfort. Externally, the model is characterized by black 16-inch alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna, as well as copper-colored design elements and topographical stripings on the doors. Inside, black and green-grey upholstery with MicroCloud inserts and topographical design rubber floor mats are used.

Technically, automatic climate control, the Keycard Handsfree keyless entry and start system, front parking assist, and a blind-spot warning system are added. In terms of safety, both trim lines of the Hybrid 155 are comprehensively protected ex works. Standard equipment includes, among other things, active emergency braking assist with pedestrian and cyclist detection, a lane keeping assist system including lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition with speed warning, a drowsiness warning system, the eCall emergency call system, and an event-related data recorder.

For the Expression variant of the Hybrid 155, a Comfort Package is also optionally offered for 300 Euros, which bundles automatic climate control, Keycard Handsfree, and a keyless fuel cap opening.

Three Years Warranty

The standard new car warranty is three years or 100,000 kilometers, while an extended warranty of eight years or up to 160,000 kilometers (with at least 63% battery capacity) is granted for the hybrid system’s drive battery. Through the Dacia Loyalty Warranty, protection can also be extended to up to 7 years or a maximum of 150,000 kilometers with regular maintenance.

A quick look at the partly in-house competition: The new Renault Clio starts as a full hybrid with 158 hp in Germany from 24,200 Euros. A Toyota Yaris Hybrid with 115 hp system output costs at least 22,215 Euros at the promotional price, while the 194 hp MG3 Hybrid+ is available from 22,490 Euros.
