Because it is precisely in qualifying that it becomes clear who gets more out of the material: With soft tires on the car and little fuel in the tank, the absolute fastest laps of a Grand Prix race weekend are possible. Qualification is therefore also considered the actual premier discipline in motorsport. It becomes clear who is really fast – and who is not.

The gaps in brackets in qualifying and sprint qualifying each refer to the last joint session of the two drivers, as this is the final and decisive time comparison. In the sprint and in the race, the gap in seconds is given with one rounded decimal place.
