(Motorsport-Total.com/Motor1) – The most legendary race track in the world is approaching a historic milestone: In 2027, the Nürburgring will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Since its opening in June 1927, the notorious “Green Hell” with its 73 corners and extreme elevation changes commands respect even from the most experienced drivers. For this epic anniversary, Porsche is not missing the opportunity to put a very special and highly exclusive gift on wheels based on the 911 GT3.

For Porsche, the Nordschleife has always served a dual purpose: it is a venue for historic motorsport successes and a central testing ground for series development. On the 20.8-kilometer track length, one test kilometer corresponds to a multiple of the stress experienced on regular roads due to the high mechanical load.
Already now, Zuffenhausen is celebrating the Nordschleife a bit earlier: On the occasion of the upcoming track anniversary, Porsche Germany is launching a limited edition model of the 911 GT3 limited to 100 units. The car combines standard GT technology with specific design features that refer to the history of the course.
The vehicle will be presented to the public for the first time in August 2026 as part of the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany at the Nürburgring. Orders will be possible from September 2026, and deliveries to customers will take place in the anniversary year 2027. There is no information on the price yet.
Specific design features on the exterior
The exterior of the vehicle is available in the colors white or GT silver metallic. While white refers to the classic base color of historic customer race cars, GT silver metallic is based on modern brand cup vehicles. The front section and rear panel are covered with a green protective film.
This version pays tribute to the traditional practice of factory teams to color-code vehicles for better distinction during races. In addition, the color tone refers to the term “Green Hell” coined by Jackie Stewart.
Other details include green mountain tabs on the front and rear as well as white arrow markings according to motorsport regulations. Historic Nürburgring logos on the fenders and a customizable starting number on the body complete the appearance. The typography of the starting number is inspired by the graffiti that traditionally adorn the asphalt of the Nordschleife.
A sun strip on the windshield with a golden brand lettering reduces sunlight. The forged wheels in 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear are finished in “California gold high gloss,” combined with matte black center locks. The B-pillars as well as the underside of the rear wing carry anniversary-related plaques and graphics.

Interior design and technical options
The color scheme continues inside. The door sills made of black anodized aluminum feature an illuminated lettering, while LED projectors project the track contour onto the floor. The roll cage in the rear is painted green. On the driver’s side, a green backing shimmers through the gradient perforation of the leather seat center section. The headrests are embroidered with the Nürburgring logo on the driver’s side and with the model lettering on the passenger side. For track use with a helmet, the headrest cushions can be removed.
The dashboard, steering wheel controls, and shift pattern also feature green accents. Customers can choose between the 7-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and the 6-speed manual sports transmission. The labeling of the gears is done in green. The knob of the manual version is also made of walnut wood, similar to the 911 Carrera T.
Optionally, the manufacturer offers a color-matched Manthey kit. This includes a modified suspension, adapted brake components, and an aerodynamic package that generates a downforce of 540 kilograms at 285 km/h. Buyers of the edition model also gain access to a day event at the Nürburgring with technical insights from the Manthey racing team as well as the option of a chronograph with a titanium case color-matched to the vehicle.
The case of the special edition Chronograph 1 is made of lightweight and robust titanium and coated black. Inside works the COSC-certified Porsche Design caliber WERK 01.140 with bilingual day and date display. The movement is powered by a rotor that takes up the shape and color of the vehicle’s wheel.
Further details connect sports car and timepiece: The historic Nürburgring logo adorns the matte black dial. The black strap made of original Porsche interior leather is perforated like the vehicle seats and features a green textile backing. The decorative stitching is in GT silver, matching the vehicle.
