(Motorsport-Total.com/Motor1) – Ferrari unveiled the CZ26 in Monterey: a one-off Berlinetta developed for a US customer as part of the brand’s “Special Projects” program. The vehicle is based on the SF90 Stradale’s plug-in hybrid platform but features a fully bespoke body and interior designed by the Ferrari Design Studio under the direction of Flavio Manzoni.

While the CZ26 retains the SF90’s powertrain and performance hardware, it features a new two-box silhouette with extensive aerodynamic measures at the front and rear. Ferrari’s directive was to create a form with its own visual identity that is recognizable at first glance, rather than merely redesigning the supercar. The Italians had already pursued this approach with previous one-offs like the Ferrari SP38, a one-off inspired by the F40.
Design, Aerodynamics, and Interior
The CZ26’s body is characterized by a low, horizontal stance and a central “capsule” area framed by distinctive wheel arches. At the front, a radiator grille spanning the entire width houses ultra-slim, concealed lighting elements and brake cooling openings as well as sensors and other components. Above runs an almost vertical leading edge, giving the front end a very different appearance than the base SF90 Stradale model.
At the rear, a truncated tail section, freestanding taillights, and a wide diffuser emphasize the vehicle’s width and low height. Ferrari revised the underbody and vortex generators, integrated an “Air-Curtain” system into the outer areas of the front bumper, and developed a new rear spoiler as well as a modified diffuser to increase downforce while keeping drag within limits.
The exterior is finished in the exclusive silver paint “Argento Veloce” with a liquid-like effect. Accents in “Rosso Lampante” and pigmented carbon fiber elements provide contrast and visually elongate the wheel arches and aerodynamic components.

Inside, a specially made black functional fabric dominates, combined with 3D-printed seat inserts, details in repeating “Rosso Lampante,” and an embroidered CZ26 logo. Additionally, glossy carbon fiber with embedded metal threads as well as satin matte carbon fiber and body-colored elements are used on the dashboard and doors.

Plug-in Hybrid Powertrain Based on SF90
Beneath the bespoke body, the CZ26 retains the SF90 Stradale’s plug-in hybrid powertrain. A 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine produces 797 hp and is supported by electric motors delivering a total output of 162 kW from a 7.9-kWh battery. The pure electric range is stated as 25 kilometers. Power is transmitted via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Ferrari specifies a top speed of 328 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The sprint from 0 to 200 km/h takes 6.7 seconds. The vehicle rides on 20-inch tires sized 255/35 at the front and 315/30 at the rear and features carbon-ceramic brakes. These are said to be capable of bringing the Italian sports car to a stop from 100 km/h in less than 29.5 meters.
The CZ26 joins a growing lineup of Ferrari models with extremely limited production: from one-offs to small series like the HC25 and other SF90-based special models. These far surpass series vehicles like the 296 GTB and the 12Cilindri in terms of exclusivity and degree of customization.
