However, the gearbox housing will be replaced, which was damaged by the crash against the barriers. At the Parabolica, Leclerc lost control of the car at over 230 km/h, caused by a slide on a drainage channel.
The Ferrari SF-26 withstood the impact with a deceleration of more than 50g. After thorough checks in the racing department, the vehicle was sent on its way to Madrid, where the next race is already scheduled for the weekend.

With this, Ferrari is now 122 points behind championship leader Mercedes in the constructors’ standings, who won again in Monza through Kimi Antonelli, who thus became the first Italian since Ludovico Scarfiotti in 1966 to triumph at his home race.
