Alonso is likely to have not only another extraordinary sports car in his garage but also a real eye-catcher. His private car collection is considered one of the most impressive among Formula 1 drivers. Among the vehicles that are said to be or have been in his possession are a Pagani Zonda Verde Diamante, a Lamborghini Sian, and a Porsche 918 Spyder.
The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport is anything but an ordinary sports car. Under the hood works an 8.0-liter W16 with four turbochargers. The original version of the engine delivered 1,001 hp to the road, later models even 1,200 hp.
The performance is correspondingly spectacular: from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. The top speed is 407 km/h. The complete chrome look makes the Veyron a particularly striking member of his collection.

Footage of the pickup then circulated on social media. Many fans were enthusiastic about Alonso’s fleet. “His collection is simply amazing!!” commented one user on Instagram, while another joked: “The guy collects hypercars like Pokemon.”
Alonso keeps collecting, Aston Martin struggles
The news about the new luxury car comes shortly after the first Grand Prix of Spain at the brand-new Madring. However, Alonso’s home race was less spectacular than the pickup of his Bugatti: The Spaniard finished in 17th place. His Aston Martin teammate Lance Stroll retired.
Overall, the team from Silverstone is experiencing a very difficult Formula 1 season 2026 so far. At the Hungarian Grand Prix, Aston Martin brought a B-spec car to the start. Further improvements to the power unit followed at the race in the Netherlands. In the constructors’ standings, Aston Martin is currently in tenth place with three points. This puts the team just ahead of the newly founded Cadillac racing team.
