The video showing the Jaguar Type 01 during the hill climb at Goodwood is accompanied by a cacophony of voices, the roar of other race cars before their run, passing people, and much more. The weight is not yet known but is likely to be over 2.5 tons. Given the electric drive and the XXL dimensions – around 5.2 meters in length – a lightweight is not to be expected anyway. A tight track like Goodwood is certainly not the ideal terrain for a Gran Turismo like the Jaguar Type 01, which is far from the classic image of an uncompromising sports car and is rather designed for long journeys with maximum comfort – but with a hypercar drive.
