Last year, the company recorded triple-digit growth and, with 10.970 vehicles sold, exceeded the mark of 10.000 registrations for the first time in its history.
The technical basis for further model development is the Alpine Performance Platform (APP). It will serve as the foundation for the future generation of the Alpine A110 – and for various body variants scheduled to hit the market in the coming years: Coupé, Spider, and 2+2-seater.

The new A110 is being developed and manufactured at the Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé, thus continuing the brand’s heritage and industrial DNA. As the birthplace of Alpine and the production site of the current A110 since the brand’s rebirth in 2017, Dieppe remains the heart of Alpine’s history.
Details about the platform
The Alpine Performance Platform addresses all technical challenges regarding weight, design, and electrification, facilitating the development of an electric sports car that remains true to Alpine’s DNA. The advanced aluminum architecture ensures brand-typical agility and, according to the manufacturer, offers “a lightness and modularity that translates into dynamic responsiveness and efficiency on the road.” The entire architecture is rigid and features innovative bonding and riveting technology for structural integrity and lightweight construction.
To ensure the 40:60 weight distribution between the front and rear axles of a true sports car while preserving the iconic, sporty silhouette of the A110, two battery packs are integrated into the architecture.
The batteries feature 800-volt and cell-to-pack technology, as well as high-energy-density cells to further reduce weight and charging times. As part of the platform, a new rear electric 3-in-1 axle with a dual electric motor is being developed, which, thanks to its SIC inverter, offers outstanding torque and power with ultra-fast control. Mechanically, the Alpine Performance Platform benefits from two new all-aluminum suspensions as well as new integrated braking and steering systems.

High-tech brain
The Alpine Dynamic Model (ADM ECU) serves as the high-tech brain of the platform: the unit integrates everything from battery management to the electric motors and controls brakes, steering, and active aerodynamics.
To enhance the driving experience of the next generation of electric Alpine sports cars, the brand has developed Alpine Active Torque Vectoring (AATV). The system provides a true sense of lightness: every 10 milliseconds, it can adjust the torque distribution between the right and left wheels to achieve optimal dynamic performance.
A Formula 1-inspired driving position – low-slung, with a vertical steering wheel and all essential instruments within sight and reach – places the driver at the center of the vehicle.
“Our goal is to become the world’s leading French sports car brand and to offer the best driver’s cars of the electric car era. To achieve this, we will continuously introduce new technologies and combine them with Alpine’s DNA,” explains Alpine CEO Philippe Krief. “Initially, we are focusing on our growth targets and on attracting new customers with the Alpine A290 and the Alpine A390.
Then, with the new A110, we will launch the first true electric sports car. It will remain true to Alpine’s DNA and, thanks to the Alpine Performance Platform, surpass today’s best internal combustion engine sports cars. Furthermore, Alpine’s agility and flexibility will enable it to react to market developments in real time. Our strategy is as adaptable as it is robust.”
