These MotoGP riders for 2027 are confirmed
Aprilia
Aprilia secured Marco Bezzecchi early this year with a long-term contract. At the beginning of February, the Italian brand confirmed a contract extension through 2028. The continuation of the collaboration, which dates back to the 2025 season, was staged in style as a motorcycle wedding.

His new teammate from 2027 will be Francesco Bagnaia. The two-time MotoGP world champion agreed with Aprilia on a four-year contract until 2030 and forms a purely Italian MotoGP factory team with Bezzecchi at the manufacturer from Noale.
Ducati
That Marc Marquez will remain with Ducati long-term was officially confirmed by both sides after the Czech Grand Prix in June. The reigning world champion, who won the title in his first year as a Ducati factory rider, extended his contract with the Italian team for another two years until the end of 2028.
He still sees Ducati as the most competitive project in MotoGP and emphasizes that he wants to continue fighting for wins and world championships in the future.
One day after the announcement of Marquez’s extension, Ducati confirmed the separation from Bagnaia. He will be replaced from 2027 by Pedro Acosta, who comes from KTM and has signed a new two-year contract.

The Ducati customer team Gresini is relying on a completely new rider lineup in 2027: with Moto2 talent Daniel Holgado and Joan Mir – both with two-year contracts.
Honda
At Honda, one rider has already been set since 2025 for the first year of the new era of regulations. Johann Zarco secured a two-year contract with LCR last year with his extension, thus remaining until the end of 2027.
MotoGP rookie Diogo Moreira, who will make his debut season with the LCR team in 2026, has been contracted by Honda until 2028 – in which team is still unclear. The same applies to newcomer David Alonso, who has secured a multi-year contract. Whether he will make his debut in the factory team or at LCR is open.

Yamaha
Yamaha is completely changing its rider pairing from 2027. Instead of Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins, Jorge Martin and Ai Ogura will pilot the M1 in the future. Both have agreed on a two-year contract with the Japanese manufacturer.
Toprak Razgatlioglu was contracted upon his promotion to the premier class through 2027 – with the possibility of moving up from Pramac to the factory team. With the signing of Martin and Ogura, everything points to remaining in the customer team, although this still needs to be officially confirmed.
KTM
The KTM factory team has to reorganize after losing Acosta and has secured the services of Alex Marquez, who comes from Gresini-Ducati and has signed a multi-year contract with the Austrians. His teammate will be Fabio Di Giannantonio, who is also switching from Ducati.
