(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) – After the 2026 Season 4 build of iRacing was presented at the end of August, the new version of the online racing simulation has been available since Wednesday evening, September 9, 2026, in the initial version 2026.09.09.01. This comes with new game content, features, upgrades plus, as always, many corrections and revisions. Officially, iRacing 2026 Season 4 begins next week on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 0000 UTC.

As already reported, four new vehicles are added to the game: the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH, Caterham Academy and Caterham 420R, as well as the Gen 4 Grand National stock car. Additionally, there is an overhaul for the Mazda MX-5 and the Sprint Car, and a drafting model update for Gen 4 Cup and Gen 4 Grand National.
On the tracks, iRacing classics such as Road America, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, and Milwaukee Mile appear in fully revised and up-to-date splendor thanks to current laser scan data from this year. Additionally, Summit Point Raceway, Jefferson Circuit, and Road Atlanta have received a major update featuring new track surfaces, textures, 3D curbs, trees, and more, providing a new gaming experience.
iRacers can also race against AI in even more vehicles and on even more tracks. On the technical side, the 2026 Season 4 build also includes various improvements, including a physics engine optimized for multi-threading that now enables even more precise object interactions, a fundamental update ensuring full support for UTF-8 characters, a revision of the team registration process making it easier to see at a glance how your team is registered for an event and what the individual members are registered for, and more.
