In Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, gameplay is expanded beyond the legendary orange racetracks. Players dive into a toy-scale world designed for exploration and fast-paced racing fun, where they can race, explore the world, collect items, customize vehicles, and create their own designs. Four interconnected islands are packed with races and activities for free exploration.

From the bustling streets of Wheelswood to the industrial canyons of Gearville, the natural landscapes of Tentacle Bay, and the neon-lit alleys of Drifty Temples – each island has a distinctive visual identity and combines a variety of racing challenges, unexpected obstacles, and hidden collectibles. Players can freely jump between environments while unlocking new areas and events.

Over 150 vehicles and 4 different vehicle classes

At launch, the game features more than 150 vehicles – from iconic Hot Wheels Originals to legendary real-world car brands. Players can unlock these by completing races, participating in special events, and defeating racing teams on the islands while competing for the title “Rush Master.” Four different vehicle classes – Drifter, Speeder, Titans, and Allrounder – offer unique driving behavior and feature a bonus system that affects performance and playstyle, encouraging players to experiment with different configurations.

This way, players can assemble a “Rush Squad” ready for any challenge: a team of four vehicles with their preferred Hot Wheels from each class. With a quick-switch button, players can instantly change vehicles while exploring the islands, ensuring they always have the best ride for every activity.

Customization, track editor, and multiplayer action

Customization is at the heart of the gameplay experience: Extensive options are available through the sticker and paint editors, including wheel customization, visual boost effects, and personalized sound effects for boost and sprint.

Thanks to the track editor, creativity knows no bounds: unique tracks can be designed that seamlessly integrate into the game world. The adaptive ground alignment system ensures track modules adjust to the terrain, while action markers define the behavior of virtual opponents – including ideal lines, acceleration, and braking points. Since creations can be shared across all supported platforms*, the editor offers endless possibilities to create, share, and compete with the entire community.
