(Motorsport-Total.com/Motor1) – After the successful debut of the RS6-LE 800, Abt now presents the spectacular RS3 630. This vehicle is the second of a total of three exclusive special models with which the company is celebrating its 130th anniversary. The compact top athlete is produced in a strictly limited small series of only 30 units worldwide.

The heart of the sporty compact car is the so-called ABT POWER R performance upgrade. It raises the charged engine with 400 hp standard output to around 463 kW or 630 hp as well as a maximum torque of 700 Nm. This enormous increase is made possible by the targeted use of an optimized turbocharger and a powerful charge air cooler.
Special Injection
A comprehensive engine conversion also includes the so-called IWI system, which stands for “Indirect Water/Ethanol Injection.” This indirect water-ethanol injection already takes place before the throttle valves, with a specially developed electronic control unit dosing the mixture precisely based on speed and load condition. The resulting internal cooling of the combustion chamber allows cooler air to flow in, maximizing the oxygen content for combustion.
The result is a consistently high power output even under extreme full load, as the engine electronics no longer have to reduce power for safety reasons. Since the production of the five-cylinder engine will end in the foreseeable future, the IWI system, according to Abt, forms the perfect technical basis to fully exploit the engine’s full potential once again.
The activation of the system and full power is conveniently done via the myABT app, which is directly integrated into the vehicle’s infotainment system via Apple CarPlay. Equipped in this way, the RS3 630 reaches a top speed of 300 km/h.
Refined Appearance Inside and Out
Visually, the sporty claim is also underlined by an exclusive aerodynamic package made of glossy black carbon. The front spoiler with integrated front blades is adorned with the distinctive lettering of the special model, while a precisely fitting rear bumper insert with an exclusive emblem plaque refines the rear.

Two matte white or rather matte black dual tailpipes with a substantial diameter of 95 millimeters each blend seamlessly into the powerful overall image. For optimal road holding, a coilover sports suspension with separately adjustable compression and rebound stages, precisely tuned by Abt technicians to the performance characteristics, is used. Together with sports stabilizers on both axles, it reduces body roll and noticeably increases driving precision without compromising typical everyday comfort.

The contact with the asphalt is maintained by tires in the dimension 245/30 R20, mounted on 20-inch forged wheels of the type ABT HIGH PERFORMANCE HR20. These are finished in elegant satin gold, visually picking up the festive anniversary theme.
The exclusive refinement continues consistently in the interior. The front seats and the center armrest have been individually designed and refined to create a luxurious ambiance. Upon entering, special door sills and atmospheric door entry lighting greet the driver.
A dedicated start-stop switch cap, custom floor mats, and the plaque with the inscription 1 of 30 on the dashboard emphasize the handcrafted character. Hans-Jürgen Abt emphasizes that they wanted to create a worthy monument to this exceptional engine with its unique sound at the absolute peak before production ends.
The third model of the anniversary trilogy will be presented in the coming weeks. The package price for the conversion is 58,000 euros including 19 percent VAT, plus assembly costs of 9,500 euros and fees for the TÜV inspection, with the official sales start scheduled for July 2026. You must additionally bring an RS 3 (new price from 66,800 euros).
