(Motorsport-Total.com/Motor1) – Cupra is preparing the presentation of a revised version of its first all-electric model. The new Cupra Born is set to launch with a sharpened design, an upgraded interior, and expanded technology functions. The world premiere is announced for March 5th at 10:00 AM (CET).

Visually, the revised Born adopts the brand’s current design language. Notable features include new matrix LED headlights with a triangular light signature and an illuminated brand logo at the rear. This brings the vehicle closer to the manufacturer’s latest design developments and is intended to give it a more emotional appearance. The focus is likely on the small Raval, which will be presented in spring 2026.
Changes have also been made to the interior. Here, the Born follows the example of its sibling, the VW ID.3, which was noticeably upgraded some time ago. According to Cupra, the focus is on increased perceived material quality and a modernized cockpit design. The goal is to enhance the premium feel in everyday use while further expanding operating comfort and digital functions.
As the brand’s first all-electric production model, the Born remains a central part of the electrification strategy. In addition to visual and technological further development, the vehicle is intended to continue representing a driving-dynamics-oriented electric car that combines performance and everyday usability. New equipment features are intended to further intensify the driving experience.

A published teaser video provides a first impression, showing key design elements ahead of the official presentation. The manufacturer intends to announce further technical details during the digital world premiere.
Furthermore, the Cupra Born and VW ID.3 will likely get another offshoot with the same technology and platform in 2026. Audi is working on an electric entry-level model, which will probably be called the A2 e-tron. Prototype sightings show a distinctly flat rear window in the style of the legendary first A2 from 1999.
