One of them is likely to be a new Dodge Charger Hellcat with over 700 hp. The car was among several vehicles that The Detroit Free Press got to see inside Stellantis’ Design Dome. After some speculation, the Americans have now confirmed according to the report that a new Hellcat will definitely come. It is said to receive a supercharged V8 with a compressor, as before.
At the mentioned appointment, the sharpened Charger featured a more aggressive air intake on the hood, a huge rear wing, and an SRT badge. Stellantis teased the car last week at the Investor Day. In a graphic of upcoming US products, the car was also shown: under the Dodge banner, a car with a large wing was visible under a cover.

We expect the beast to use the supercharged 6.2-liter that Ram uses in the revived TRX and the new Rumble Bee. In both pickups, the engine produces 777 hp. The Charger will likely be in a similar range. We doubt the brand will settle for less—why would it?
The outgoing Charger Hellcat reached up to 807 hp in the Redeye Jailbreak version. We might see a variant in this direction again at some point. Dodge has not yet set a release date for the new Charger. However, Stellantis’ new roadmap extends into the early 2030s. Therefore, the debut should not be too long in coming.
