– Sweet news from the Principality of Monaco: Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc (28) and his wife Alexandra (25) are expecting their first child. The expectant mother announced the pregnancy herself on Instagram and surprised her followers with atmospheric shots from the vacation.

On a yacht, the 25-year-old poses in a green two-piece, runs her hand through her hair, and skillfully showcases her already clearly visible baby bump. She simply captioned the post with ladybug emojis.
Attentive observers had, however, suspected for some time that baby news would soon be coming from the Leclerc household: rumors about offspring were already circulating during a joint break off the coast of Sardinia, when fans spotted the first curves on Alexandra in snapshots from their own yacht “Sedici”.
The couple’s shared roots go back to 2022, when they met through mutual acquaintances. About a year later, they made their relationship public.

In November 2025, the marriage proposal finally followed, in which Leclerc relied on a particularly cute helper: dachshund Leo acted as a little messenger and delivered the words “Dad wants to marry you”.
The couple celebrated the highlight of their partnership in February 2026. At the Monaco town hall, Charles and Alexandra exchanged vows in the closest family and friends circle. Afterwards, the newlyweds appeared overjoyed on a balcony high above the rooftops of Monaco – now the first child together finally completes the family happiness.
Leclerc would be the fifth father in the Formula 1 field. Nico Hülkenberg, Max Verstappen, and Sergio Perez have also been blessed with children in recent years. Just in March, Fernando Alonso joined the ranks of Formula 1 fathers.
