The 2023 Huracán Sterrato was a surprise success and drove straight into the hearts of fans with its crazy off-road attitude. In 2024, a Sterrato-All Terrain version limited to twelve cars followed.
Will there be a resurrection of the rough sports car? Possibly. The idea comes directly from statements by CEO Stephan Winkelmann, who in recent weeks in an interview with CarExpert did not rule out a comeback of a raised supercar variant after the success of the Huracán Sterrato. The project apparently does not have immediate priority, but the door remains slightly open. Our rendering is based exactly on this hint – and it shows what a Temerario could look like, ready to leave the asphalt.
Ready for any terrain
In the rendering, the super sports car from Sant’Agata Bolognese changes its approach significantly without losing its identity.
The new suspension naturally provides a lift. The wheel arches grow to accommodate chunky tires, while special protective parts on bumpers and underbody are intended to protect the technology from damage. Functional details such as revised air intakes, additional light strips, and overall a more robust appearance are added.

Under the body, the heart of the Temerario would remain untouched. The super sports car available since the end of 2024 is powered by a hybrid drive. The 4.0-liter V8 biturbo produces 800 hp. It is supported by three electric motors. This results in a system output of 920 hp. The sprint from 0-100 km/h is done in 2.7 seconds, and the top speed is over 340 km/h.
Performance with compromises
A possible Sterrato version would inevitably shift priorities. Less extreme aerodynamics, special tires, and the raised suspension would mean some compromises in top speed and pure acceleration. In return, traction, control, and the ability to handle difficult terrain would increase – also thanks to electric all-wheel drive and torque vectoring.
Winkelmann’s statement is still clear: Currently, the focus is on the classic derivatives of the series – such as coupe, spyder, and high-performance variants. But the example of the Huracán Sterrato shows that there is some room for bolder interpretations. And if history repeats itself, the Temerario could be the perfect basis for a new super sports car that combines extreme performance with off-road capabilities.
