(Motorsport-Total.com/Motor1) – The multi-million euro construction project by Jean Pierre Kraemer in Schwerte is taking concrete shape, although the founder of JP Performance recently hinted at his withdrawal following his admission of physical violence against his still-wife.

Current observations on site suggest that the project is nevertheless being pushed forward. This seems to secure the future of the various business areas at a central location.
JP Performance active again in Schwerte
As reported by “Bild”, several employees of JP Performance were on the approximately 40,000 square meter site in Schwerte-Westhofen on Tuesday. According to this, two caretakers and a building manager inspected the premises and checked buildings, roads, and parking areas for possible defects.
Stefan Witte, lawyer of Jean Pierre Kraemer, also came to the site according to “Bild”. According to the newspaper, the formal handover of the keys for the project was supposed to take place on the same day. The “Ruhr Nachrichten” meanwhile report that the keys have already been handed over. Kraemer himself was not present.
About twelve million euros for 40,000 square meters
The site is part of the overall 17-hectare industrial area of the former wagon manufacturer Brüninghaus. Most recently, a manufacturer of crane booms used parts of the location. The area intended for JP Performance covers around 40,000 square meters and is located directly on the A1.
Kraemer is said to have purchased the property for around twelve million euros. There is no official confirmation of the purchase price from JP Performance so far. Initial reports about the planned relocation appeared as early as August, and we also reported on it. At that time, a comprehensive “JP World” was mentioned.
JP Kraemer withdrawal
Several business areas previously spread across different locations could move together there. Mentioned were workshops, the PACE Automobile Museum, Big Boost Burger, offices, T-shirt production, and other companies. According to “Ruhr Nachrichten”, the kart track and a hotel originally planned in Dortmund were also under discussion.

From announced exit to reopening
At the beginning of September, Kraemer announced that he wanted to close his companies and withdraw from the public eye. He also stated that he would take a break and start therapy. This temporarily put the future of the planned “JP World” in question.
Just a few days later, management announced that several businesses would continue or reopen. The company cited responsibility towards employees, suppliers, service providers, and business partners as reasons.
The current developments in Schwerte now suggest that the real estate project will also be pursued. However, it is still unclear whether the “JP World” will actually be created in the originally intended scope.
It also remains open what role Kraemer will personally play in the project in the future. According to “Ruhr Nachrichten”, he was not present at the key handover. No official statement from JP Performance or Kraemer himself has been made so far.
