Temerario continues successful cooperation
Because the connection goes back to 2004: At that time, the first Gallardo was handed over to the traffic police and was already used for the first organ transport in September of the same year. In the following years, among others, the Gallardo LP 560-4, several Huracán models, and since 2023 the Urus Performante have been added.
In more than 20 years, a total of six Lamborghinis have been added to the Polizia di Stato fleet. According to official information, the vehicles were used in more than 200 missions for organ transport throughout Italy and were also part of over 1,500 initiatives for traffic education and the promotion of safe driving.

The police will race through Italy with 920 hp in the future
The new Lamborghini Temerario marks the latest chapter of this cooperation. The super sports car from Sant’Agata Bolognese combines a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo with three electric motors and achieves a system output of 920 hp. In police use, this drive configuration is intended to provide the necessary performance to quickly and reliably achieve the goals of particularly sensitive missions.
As part of the presentation, the book “I motori della Polizia” was also introduced. The book, created by the Office for Institutional Communication of the Polizia di Stato and published by Giunti Editore and Giorgio Nada Editore, traces the development of the vehicles used by the institution – from cars and motorcycles to special vehicles. At the same time, it links the history of these vehicles with the development of the police and the country.
