See you tomorrow!
Although Friday did not end with the expected best time from Marc Marquez – this went to Marco Bezzecchi. The gaps at the top were extremely close. So it remains exciting how the duel between Aprilia and Ducati will develop over the weekend.
Tomorrow, several decisions will be made with the qualifying sessions of the three world championship classes and the Baggers as well as two races. We will be back on time for the last practice sessions in the morning with a new ticker edition and, of course, will stay close to the action on the track all day long. Until then!

MotoGP Training: Tight top field
Bezzecchi remains in front with a time of 1:45.455 minutes, and Alex Marquez also passes Marc at the end, who thus finishes Friday in third place. However, the top 3 are separated by only 0.038 seconds.
Di Giannantonio is fourth ahead of Aldeguer. Fernandez, Martin, Acosta, Morbidelli, and Zarco secure the remaining direct Q2 spots. Returnee Zarco is the only Honda rider to achieve this this time. His teammate Moreira narrowly misses out in eleventh. Bagnaia ends up in 13th place. The best Yamaha rider is Quartararo in 14th.
MotoGP Training: Bezzecchi faster
Back on the track, Bezzecchi attacks Marquez’s newly set track record and goes 38 thousandths faster. This puts him ahead.
MotoGP Training: Interim standings
He makes one last pit stop. The order: Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez, Bezzecchi, Aldeguer, Di Giannantonio, Martin, Acosta, Morbidelli, Moreira, and Fernandez. They would currently be directly in Q2. Marini, Bagnaia, and Zarco are lurking just outside the top 10.
MotoGP Training: Record pace
Everyone is now out with fresh tires and Marc Marquez immediately makes a statement: He sets a new track record with 1:45.493 minutes.
MotoGP Training: First under 1:46
Aldeguer sets the first 1:45 time this Friday. He is now very close to the track record. Acosta initially slots in behind him, while Miller causes the first crash of this session in turn 2.
MotoGP Training: Time attack begins
Less than 20 minutes remain in this session. The first riders come out with fresh tires, including Acosta, Aldeguer, and Razgatlioglu.

MotoGP Training: Bagnaia off the pace
The field has tightened up. 13 riders are within one second. Bagnaia is still struggling, and we have not seen much from him this Friday. He is currently 16th and 1.269 seconds behind the leader. This does not look like a breakthrough after he remained without points for the first time this season at Silverstone.
MotoGP Training: Isolated improvements
In the second run, some new rear tires are used, which causes some shifts in the standings. Behind Marc Marquez, Bezzecchi is the new second. Di Giannantonio has improved to third place.
MotoGP Training: The order
After seven to eight laps, the riders head to the pits for a first interim stop. Marc Marquez remains in front with a comfortable lead of three tenths of a second. Acosta, Bezzecchi, Martin, and Alex Marquez follow behind. Aldeguer, Zarco, Miller, Di Giannantonio, and Binder make up the second half of the top 10.
Zarco was examined again after the first training and has been cleared to continue. Despite the long race break, the Frenchman is doing remarkably well.
MotoGP Training: Immediately faster
The pace is higher right from the start than in the morning. After the first laps, Marc Marquez leads with 1:46.320 minutes. Acosta and Martin are the first chasers.
MotoGP Training: What’s it about
In MotoGP now, in this one-hour session, besides preparing for the races, it’s also about direct entry to Q2. In the premier class, only the fastest ten riders make the jump. The conditions remain summery warm: the air is 26 degrees, the asphalt 49 degrees.
For tires, the field goes out on the front with the medium compound. On the rear, we see a mix of soft and medium.
Moto2 Training: New track record
In Moto2, the leader is the same in the morning and afternoon: Ivan Ortola ends this training Friday with a new track record of 1:49.791 minutes, just 58 thousandths ahead of Daniel Holgado, who also stays under the old best time. Senna Agius, Alonso Lopez, and Celestino Vietti round out the top 5.
Manuel Gonzalez is sixth. Daniel Munoz, Alex Escrig, Collin Veijer, and Izan Guevara occupy the remaining top-10 spots. Behind them, Ayumu Sasaki, Barry Baltus, Angel Piqueras, and Taiyo Furusato also advance directly to Q2.
