– Michael Schumacher is getting his own film. Over the weekend, a nearly two-minute trailer for the short film, titled “The Kaiser,” was released. According to the creators, the final film will have a length of 20 to 25 minutes.

In this short timeframe, logically, Schumacher’s entire career will not be covered, but only the period around his Formula 1 entry in 1991 with Jordan. There is no major studio behind the project. The creators say:

However, the title of the film is somewhat unusual, about which one user in the comments under the trailer writes, for example: “I have been a German Schumacher fan since 1998 and have never in my life heard anyone call him ‘Kaiser’.”
Bulgarian director Lubo Marinov himself says about the short film: “For me, this is more than just a film. It is a passion project – the foundation for a future feature film that tells this story in its full cinematic breadth.”
“At the end of this film, the audience should not only understand Michael Schumacher – they should feel like they are him,” he explains. Fans have the opportunity to support the project with monetary donations.
