In addition to the new free vehicles, players can expect a complete overhaul of the GT4 and GT3 classes, the introduction of Join-in-Progress, triple-screen support in an alpha version, further improvements for PC VR ahead of the planned late summer release, optimized collisions, the new “Ranked Notification Join” feature, as well as numerous graphical enhancements throughout the game.

The free Aussie Rivals Pack includes the Holden Commodore VF (2013) and a fully revamped Ford Falcon FG (2013). Players can look forward to two legendary V8 race cars – built for uncompromising action on and over the curbs, brutal rear-wheel drive, and thrilling duels on the track.

Under the leadership of new CCO Aris Vasilakos, Update 2.1 offers a complete overhaul of all GT4 and GT3 vehicles. This is based on new manufacturer data and a completely newly developed tire simulation that significantly improves driving feel, tire behavior, and authenticity of the vehicle classes.

But comfort improvements such as Join-in-Progress, where players can now join supported online sessions even after the race has started, and Ranked Notification Join, which allows players registered for a ranked session to no longer wait on the registration screen but use other areas and receive a notification as soon as the session is ready to join directly, are also part of the update.

“Our players tirelessly lap, provide valuable feedback, and motivate us every day to continue improving Project Motor Racing,” says Kevin Boland, CEO of Straight4 Studios. “Update 2.1 is the result of this process: a comprehensive overhaul of the GT4 and GT3 classes, cleaner duels, a smoother online experience, stronger immersion features, and the free Aussie Rivals Pack – as a big thank you to our community that continuously inspires and shapes Project Motor Racing.”
