(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) – Following the Italian Grand Prix in Monza last weekend, EA/Codemasters released the update to V1.25 for the F1 25 2026 Season Pack on Monday, September 7, 2026. Two months after the last update, the F2 2026 season is now included in the game.

At the same time, the September sports update brings updates to various teams. Included is the introduction of Ferrari’s unmistakable “Macarena” rear wing in the game and adjustments to car designs and sponsor logos. Additionally, seven special liveries will be unlocked at different times and can be requested for free via the in-game inbox.
From September 9 to October 14, the liveries of Racing Bulls (Suzuka), Audi (Monaco), and Cadillac (Silverstone) will be available. Following that, from September 11 to October 14, the liveries of Cadillac (Miami) and McLaren (Monaco) will be available. Finally, from September 16 to October 14, the liveries of Aston Martin (Monaco) and Racing Bulls (Miami) will be ready.
To attract new players to F1 25: 2026 Season Edition and the 2026 Season Pack on Steam and Xbox, a “free weekend” will be held for getting to know the game. On Steam, it starts Thursday, September 10 at 17:00 UTC and runs until Monday, September 14 at 17:00 UTC. On Xbox, access starts already on Wednesday, September 9 at 22:00 UTC and lasts until Monday, September 14 at 20:00 UTC.

-F2 Championship 2026, including all cars and drivers, has been added to the game.
-Sports update for F1 cars and drivers: The latest visual changes to cars and sponsor changes in the 2026 Formula 1 season have been incorporated.

-Several team principals have been updated at various locations in the game.
-To better reflect the 2026 rules, the boost mode with limited power is now available in wet conditions.
-To better reflect the rules, straight mode and DRS remain active only when the driver’s throttle input is above 90 percent.
-An “Overtaking allowed” race control message is now displayed at the correct times during races with 2026 F1 cars. This has also been added to the UDP output.

Cars and Tracks
-An issue with certain sponsor liveries where the driver number overlapped a sponsor logo has been fixed.
-The pattern of the rev lights on Franco Colapinto’s steering wheel has been updated.
-The position of the 2026 Red Bull steering wheel has been raised to match the real car.
-The front suspension on the 2026 Aston Martin and Haas cars now appears correctly attached to the wheel.
-Some track boundaries in Australia have been corrected, which were previously copied from Austria.
Career
-The tire allocation for several 2026 F1 race weekends has been updated.
-An issue where the available PitCoin amount was not displayed when accessing the shop in career mode has been fixed.
-An issue on the driver career team selection screen has been fixed so that the displayed recognition values are now always correct.
-In driver career mode, you receive bonus recognition upon completing an F2 season when starting your first season in F1.
-An issue that prevented awards from being displayed correctly when starting a driver career with an official F2 driver has been fixed.
Steering Wheels and Controllers
-Slight adjustment for steering wheels to better match control inputs with physics output during rapid input range changes.
-A stability issue affecting Moza and Simucube peripherals has been fixed.
-An issue affecting certain hardware where force feedback calls prevented higher frame rates has been fixed.
-Improved control schemes for existing Simagic hardware.
-Additional support for Simagic P500 and P700 pedals, Neo X Hub, Zeus Formula, GT, and Sport steering wheels.
