A total of 6 new vehicles, including the Audi R8 LMS GT4 Evo, Ferrari 296 GT3, Ferrari GTO, Ford Mustang GT3, Lamborghini Countach, and Porsche 911 GT3 R rennsport, as well as the Sebring International Raceway, are coming to the game with the update. Apart from that, the focus is on improving the simulation itself.
New features include refined suspension modeling, more stable collision behavior in multiplayer, improved audio quality, and official MoTeC telemetry support via an updated shared memory stack.
Usability, Driving Physics, and Multiplayer Experience in Focus
Usability has been improved through a redesigned vehicle selection process and a revised input device settings page. Furthermore, revisions have been made in the areas of AI, physics, gameplay, and performance, which, according to their own statements, continue the community-driven development towards a robust and long-term racing platform.
Improved Suspension Modeling: Assetto Corsa EVO 0.6 represents a significant advancement in suspension modeling. Improvements include multi-link and strut systems, coilover alignment, roll and pitch center calculations, bump stop behavior, and revised damper functions. These changes enhance load transfer, mechanical realism, and the overall handling of all vehicles in the game.
More Stable Collision Behavior in Multiplayer: The multiplayer racing mode is in focus thanks to revised network control and prediction logic. The goal is to ensure more stable and predictable collisions during online sessions to enable closer and more authentic wheel-to-wheel racing.
More Convincing Vehicle Sounds and Revised Vehicle Selection
Audio: Audio improvements in version 0.6 include optimized reverb behavior, especially in underpasses and enclosed areas, for a more spatially grounded soundscape. Selected vehicles also benefit from revised or refined sound sets, expanded multi-channel management, and a more distinct acoustic identity.

Official MoTeC Telemetry Support: Version 0.6 updates the shared memory library, improving the structure and quality of telemetry data for external tools and hardware integrations. This update introduces official MoTeC support, expanding simulation and data analysis capabilities for advanced users and content creators.
Usability, Performance, and System Advancements: A revised vehicle selection process and a redesigned control settings page, now organized by input type, offer players a more intuitive entry. Efforts also continue in the areas of AI behavior, CPU performance optimization, pit stops, penalties, weather systems, track limits, tires, aerodynamics, setups, rendering, replays, and customization options.
Sim Racers Can Now Create and Host Their Own Servers
Self-Hosted Game Servers: Following the stabilization of the central multiplayer infrastructure, Assetto Corsa EVO expands its online offering with a multi-tiered approach designed to balance competition, freedom, and accessibility. In addition to the official Daily Racing Portal with 24/7 ranked challenges and the acevo-servers.com platform for worldwide rental of browser-based servers, update 0.6 offers players a new option.
With the release of the dedicated game server executable via Steam Tools, users can now create and host their own servers, utilizing important configuration features. This provides a unified multiplayer framework that supports various player profiles and offers an increasingly precise and tailored online experience for competitions, organized communities, and casual game rounds with friends.
