– After the season opener, which took place with a delay in mid-April in Imola, the endurance world championship (WEC) race calendar now continues as originally planned. This weekend, the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium are on the schedule.

Because it is the last race before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in preparation for the season highlight, some hypercar teams are already increasing their line-ups from two to three drivers per car at the Spa weekend.

In the top class of the WEC, three questions arise for the Spa weekend: Will Toyota, after winning the season opener, also win the second race of the still young 2026 season? Will defending champion Ferrari achieve its first win of the season? Or will one of the other manufacturers in the field – Alpine, Aston Martin, BMW, Cadillac, Genesis, Peugeot – pull off a surprise?

TV times and livestream 6h Spa 2026

The hard news upfront: There is no longer a free livestream of the WEC 2026. The exclusive TV rights in Germany this year are held by Eurosport, which however broadcasts the season opener entirely on their pay-TV channel Eurosport 2. In Austria, parts of the race can be seen on ORF Sport+.

Additionally, there is the streaming offer from HBO Max (formerly Eurosport Player/Discovery+) starting at 5.99 euros per month, and the official streaming offer FIAWEC+. Here, offers range from 9.99 euros per race up to 49.99 euros for the whole year. Still freely accessible is the livestream of the third free practice, which is also streamed again on the WEC YouTube channel.
