– Marc Marquez has published a photo series on his Instagram profile, which he commented on with just one word: “Unposted”. These are personal shots, including photos from MotorLand Aragon, where he won both the sprint and the Grand Prix.

In this photo series, he is seen celebrating with his brother Alex, being with his girlfriend Gemma Pinto, or training, whether on the bike or in the gym.
The condition of his right arm is particularly evident in the third photo. You can see how it practically appears sunken in the shoulder area, with clear differences compared to his healthy left arm.
The image attracted a lot of attention, even though the condition of his right shoulder is no surprise. In fact, people from his close circle do not hesitate to admit how complicated his situation is.
Marc Marquez is still searching for what he himself calls his “new 100 percent”. He bases his strategy on this and divides the tracks into those where he can attack and those where he has to defend.
Thus, he only reached ninth place in the sprint and seventh place in the Grand Prix in Silverstone. In the Ducati docuseries “Inside,” it was heard how he said he had “no control” over his right arm.

As he explained on Thursday at the press conference in Aragon, this statement was not actually meant to be made public. However, MotorLand Aragon was a track where he wanted to risk everything.
He succeeded in doing so and took home the maximum possible 37 world championship points. But the arm of the multiple world champion remains severely injured, as he himself showed after the Aragon race weekend.
In Aragon, Maximo Quiles, who is managed by Marquez through the company Vertical Management, won the Moto3 race after breaking his right collarbone three weeks earlier in Silverstone.

Quiles was asked if he, like Marquez, had won with “one and a half” arms. The 18-year-old rider replied: “That is not comparable. Marc does not ride with one and a half arms. He rides with only one arm because the other is completely destroyed.”
