Formula 1 has been and will certainly remain the pinnacle of motorsport for a very long time, and for good reason, simply because they are so good at reinventing themselves and trying to challenge the formula of their own championship a little bit.”

In this context, Schumacher mentions the 2022 season. Back then, it was not superclipping or battery management that dominated the scene, but the so-called porpoising. At times, the fastest cars in the world bounced over the asphalt like lowriders, creating bizarre images in the first third of the year.
“When we look back at 2022, when the cars bottomed out so much, they found solutions for it by the end of the year. But beyond that, within the next two to three years, they made it one of the fastest cars ever. So I do not doubt that they will find a way to improve what they have to have fun again,” says the German.
