NASCAR 26: Developer presents first innovations and announces release date

(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) – Following the reveal of NASCAR 26 The Game in June, iRacing Studios has now released the first developer video diary. It confirms various new features of this year’s game.

These include the ability to do burnouts on the track, the inclusion of Naval Base Coronado and the San Diego track, a significant gameplay improvement to the cross-platform multiplayer mode allowing PC and console players to race with and against each other on NASCAR tracks, and the standalone The Chase mode.

Next week, an official gameplay trailer will also be released, which will provide more impressions of the game than the screenshots and video sequences contained in the approximately 11-minute long opening episode of the developer video diary.

It is already known that NASCAR 26 will be released in September. What’s new is that there is now an official release date. The Standard Edition will be released on September 18, while the Gold Edition will be available three days earlier, on September 15. Details on the differences and planned game expansions are expected in the coming days and weeks.

While NASCAR 25 laid the foundation for the franchise, NASCAR 26 will take a consistent step forward as a further development. On the driving side, a new dynamic track feature ensures that the track surface changes accordingly with increasing driving activity.
