A first taste was given in the form of the official gameplay trailer released on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, before gamers can compete themselves from mid-September in the NASCAR Cup Series, O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series.

With Dynamic Track technology, a cross-platform multiplayer mode, an improved driving model, burnout celebration sequences, a standalone The Chase mode, and a brand-new Peak Performance training mode, it is officially promised to be the “biggest gameplay evolution to date, and thus the most authentic NASCAR experience ever on a console.”

“Our fans told us they wanted iRacing Studios to develop the next NASCAR console game – and that’s exactly what they did,” said Nick Rend, Vice President of Interactive and New Platforms at NASCAR. “The response to ‘NASCAR 25’ reflected the momentum we currently see in NASCAR video games, and ‘NASCAR 26’ takes another significant step forward with improvements across the entire gaming experience. From the car handling, to the development of the tracks, to cross-platform play that brings the community together. This is the most comprehensive and authentic NASCAR console game we have ever released.”

“NASCAR 26 is not just about adding new features, but continuing our long-term approach to developing the most authentic NASCAR console series ever created,” explains Matt Lewis, Vice President and Senior Producer at iRacing Studios. “Dynamic Track technology ensures that conditions change over the course of a race weekend. The improvements we made to the driving model, and the new modes we added … all of this is based on one of iRacing’s core principles: providing our fans with an authentic experience. We look forward to players experiencing NASCAR 26 this September.”
