“A focus of this hotfix was on performance optimization. Among other things, the performance issue in the village ‘Wugel’ was fixed, which led to severe performance drops. Now you can enjoy your tours again with more stable performance. Some fixes were also made in the game world.

For example, incorrectly placed trees on the forest path west of ‘Schwiedingsheim’ were removed. In addition to these mentioned points, the hotfix includes further bug fixes and optimizations that will further improve the overall gaming experience,” the developer studio announces and thanks everyone who contributed with their feedback to the now available hotfix.

Besides the PC version, the game has also been released for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. However, console gamers will have to be patient a little longer until the update is available for their systems. Until then, there are tips that should help reduce the impact of the still unpatched limitations on gameplay.

On consoles, only the orbit camera should be used in the village “Wugel” for the time being. This is intended to avoid severe performance drops when using other camera perspectives. Players who open the graphics menu on the PS5 – regardless of whether they change the settings or not – are advised to restart the game afterwards.

Currently, performance issues can also occur when returning to the game. Due to old files from before the update, which can currently cause frame rate drops on the PS5, the console cache should therefore be cleared.
