With an average age of 18 years, three months, and 27 days at the first race of the season, the two youngsters are the third youngest driver duo in the history of the ADAC GT Masters. Just a fraction ahead are Tom Kalender and Elias Seppänen, who were 13 days younger at their first race in 2024. The leaders of this statistic are Martin Matzke and Jiri Skula. At their debut in the ADAC GT Masters in 2007, they had an average age of 17 years, four months, and one day.
FK Performance Motorsport is entering its fourth season in the ADAC GT Masters. In the past two years, the BMW team was runner-up in both the drivers’ and teams’ championships. The team has achieved six race wins and two pole positions so far and was named the brand’s best customer team in the world by BMW in 2025.
With Storm Gjerdrum, an old acquaintance returns to the ADAC GT Masters. The 16-year-old already had a guest start at the Salzburgring in the past season and will now compete in his first full season. He has achieved success in the past in the ADAC Tourenwagen Junior Cup and in the ADAC GT4 Germany and now meets his older brother Emil, who also starts in the ADAC GT Masters.
“Moving into the GT3 class at my age is a great opportunity and a dream come true,” says Gjerdrum. “My goal for this season is to fight at the very front and regularly achieve good results for the team.”

His teammate Fabio Rauer also began his career in the ADAC Tourenwagen Junior Cup and worked his way up through various GT4 series. Last year, he achieved his greatest triumph to date: in his debut season in a national GT3 series in Italy, he celebrated the championship immediately.
“After winning the title in Italy, this is the next big step for me – now I want to compete at the front here too,” says Rauer about his goals in the ADAC GT Masters. “It is particularly nice to compete in Germany as part of the DTM.”
A few weeks ago, FK Performance Motorsport had already confirmed that Tim Zimmermann and Leyton Fourie will once again share a BMW M4 GT3 Evo. The duo was in the title fight until the final weekend in 2025 and eventually finished as runners-up.
