In Canada, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli had several direct duels on the track. The Briton has now made it clear before the Monaco race that he and his teammate will continue to fight each other.

“There’s absolutely no reason to worry,” he clarifies, emphasizing: “We are racing drivers. We push ourselves to the limit on every single lap. And when we race against each other, we also push each other to our limits.”

Of course, it’s “stressful” for the team, Russell knows, “but ultimately you have to trust us. And you do trust us,” he clarifies, emphasizing: “We will continue to fight hard. We know each other’s limits.”

Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris have already incurred an investigation before the first session in Monaco. Both were late for yesterday’s driver press conference, which could now result in a penalty.

While there will be no sporting sanction, we will still pay attention to what the race stewards decide. The two hearings will take place today at 10:00 AM and 10:10 AM respectively.

This means that for the first time this year, we have a race with a “normal” schedule for us here. This means: FP1 is scheduled for 1:30 PM, FP2 in the early evening at 5:00 PM.
