(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) – Even iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC, the company behind the online racing simulation iRacing, is not spared from recently increased and tendentially still rising prices, which is why an increase in the fees for the various iRacing subscriptions has been announced for August 2026. While the prices for vehicles and tracks remain unchanged, the subscriptions experience price increases ranging between 11.8 and 13.64 percent.

The 1-month membership will be raised from 13 US dollars to 14.75 US dollars. 3 months will cost 37.50 US dollars instead of 33 US dollars in the future. For 12 months, it will no longer be 110 US dollars but 124.50 US dollars, and for 24 months, instead of 199 US dollars, 222.50 US dollars will be charged. The price information refers to subscriptions concluded directly via iRacing. The Steam prices differ from this but increase in a similar ratio according to the developer.
The second price increase in the almost 20-year history is justified by generally rising costs but also the continuously expanded offer and last but not least investments in the future.
Background and justification of the price increases
“We do not take this change lightly and are aware that rising costs affect everyone. Since our last price increase, the value of an iRacing subscription has increased significantly: hundreds of new features, expanded functionality, and a base package that now includes more than 30 vehicles and over 25 tracks. In addition, we have significantly increased our investments in development. Dozens of new and exciting features are already in the works, including a proprietary new graphics engine and a single-player career mode.

How iRacers can still benefit from the currently lower prices for a longer time
The new prices are valid from August 18, 2026. Those who either take out a new membership or renew an existing subscription by then can still secure the currently valid, cheaper conditions depending on the chosen duration.
In the case of early renewal, the duration of the current subscription is extended by the length of the newly chosen period. The existing subscription is not replaced by this. For iRacers who use the automatic subscription renewal default setting, the prices will be adjusted automatically so that the new subscription prices apply at the next regular automatic renewal after they become effective on August 18, 2026.
