(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) – With regular updates, Straight4 Studios has been continuously improving the playability and authenticity of Project Motor Racing in recent weeks and months. Now, at gamescom, they have unveiled the next expansion for the racing simulation. The V8 Power Pack, releasing in September, brings simracers nine legendary V8 race cars from three generations and a legendary race track.

The vehicle selection – click here for the trailer and screenshots – ranges from modern Australian touring cars to current American motorsport machines to the origins of historic US road racing. Historic US V8 revives the golden era of American road racing with the Ford Mustang Boss 302 (1970), Plymouth Barracuda (1970), AMC Javelin (1970), and the legendary Camaro TA Z/28 (1968).

US V8 adds to the package the Dodge Challenger (2022), Ford Mustang (2022), and Camaro (2022), while AUS V8 EVO brings the Ford Mustang AU (2023) and Chevrolet Camaro AU (2023) to the streets.

Along with the vehicles in the pack, the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is included. Described as the heart and soul of American road racing, the track offers 2.54 miles of blind crests, elevation changes, fast S-curves, and heavy braking zones. It is the kind of race track where fast cars seem even faster, old cars even wilder, and a small mistake can easily become a big one.
