(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) – After the big summer update at the beginning of the month and a smaller update with bug fixes afterwards, KW Studios released the 1.2 GB update to V0.9.8.14 for RaceRoom on Tuesday noon, August 18, 2026.

This update addresses the sometimes negative impacts of the new HUD on game performance, some related issues, and community requests.
Regarding driving physics, there are also a few changes that continue the revisions started in the summer update concerning the interactions between camber, ride height, drag, and aerodynamic balance in the GT3 class. V09.8.14 includes two further steps of these revisions plus individual adjustments for the Ford Mustang FR500 GT3, McLaren MP4-12C GT3, RUF GT3, and Mercedes SLS GT3.
The developers point out that vehicles whose suspension or aerodynamic values have been recalculated will feel different when steering and in the middle of corners – not just faster or slower. Therefore, they recommend all sim racers to do a few test laps before applying old vehicle setups.

The sequential gearbox integrated with the summer update did not behave exactly like the original according to official statements. Therefore, this update also includes some revisions here. With a manual clutch, you now only need it for starting off, no longer between gear changes, and you neither have to hold the brake nor take your foot off the accelerator to engage a gear.

Also part of the current version is the revision of the Norisring and Silverstone tracks, both updated to the 2026 standard. The Norisring has received new track markings, 8K asphalt textures, and a new paddock building, while the most noticeable new feature at the British circuit is the rectangular hotel cabins near Maggotts.
