As a supplement to the “Tow to Service” feature, which allows a damaged truck that can no longer be moved under its own power to be towed to the nearest workshop, “Tow to Road” is designed to assist players after their truck has overturned or become stuck in a ditch or on uneven terrain.
The action, which can be accessed via the service menu, is confirmed with a small dialog window showing the price for the service and the estimated time until help arrives, where assistance can be requested. Also with V1.59, there is a “realism upgrade” in Euro Truck Simulator 2. In the future, players will be able to hitch trailers equipped with Thermo King cooling units, enabling the transport of temperature-sensitive goods, behind their tractor units.

The developer studio also announced that all previously nameless cooling units and refrigerated trailers will be replaced through the collaboration with Thermo King. For single trailers, the Thermo King A-360, A-400, A-500, SLXi 300, and SLXi 400 cooling units mounted on the front of the trailer will be used. For double trailer configurations, the UT-1400R model is available, which is mounted underneath the trailer.
