(MST/Speedmaniacs.de) – After the official announcement of the F1 25 2026 Season Pack last week, EA/Codemasters has now released further details as well as a 5-minute deep dive video about the expansion available from June 3rd, thoroughly preparing Formula 1 fans for the new features and changes.

In 2026, eleven teams will be on the starting grid. New to the lineup is the American car manufacturer Cadillac. The US team will feature Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez, while the Sauber team has officially been taken over by Audi and will compete with its own engine and new brand identity. At Racing Bulls, Arvid Lindblad joins alongside Liam Lawson, and at Oracle Red Bull Racing, Isack Hadjar is new to the team alongside Max Verstappen.
The biggest difference in 2026 comes from the behavior of the cars. They are lighter, smaller, and equipped with active aerodynamics. EA/Codemasters promises that the player will play an even greater role this year than ever before by having to make tactical and strategic decisions during all races.
In addition to deciding when to activate the Overtake mode, real-time adjustments to the front and rear wings with active aerodynamics are possible to optimize speed in every corner and on every straight. Players who prefer to focus purely on the action on the track can activate updated driving assists that handle the details in the background.
New Track for the Madrid GP
The centerpiece of the 2026 update is the MADRING, the brand-new Spanish Grand Prix circuit in Madrid. The 5.4-kilometer MADRING CIRCUIT features tight, technical sections with high-speed straights and constant rhythm changes and was specially designed for the new season.

The MADRING combines street elements with specially built sections, giving it a distinctive driving feel and can only be driven with cars from the 2026 season.
Updates for Career and My Team
The 2026 season offers various game modes and experiences. In the driver career and My Team, you start with a new save file featuring the updated grid, rules, and calendar, including the new Spanish Grand Prix. In My Team, you take on the role of the twelfth team and write your own story in the expanded field of participants.
The new season is also available in the Grand Prix, Time Trial, Split Screen, and unranked multiplayer modes. Custom teams and career save files from the 2025 season will not carry over to the 2026 season. Konnersport and APXGP teams cannot be added to the 2026 driver career or My Team season.
